It all began with a student's project started in 1974 that first brought Rainer Neugebauer in touch with the Corrugated Board Industry.
This contact led to a lasting and fruitful collaboration: After having finished his studies of computer science Rainer Neugebauer founded "Ing.-Büro Neugebauer". Now known by the name of "Neugebauer Rhapso GmbH" the software company has come to be the European market leader in production scheduling solutions for the Corrugated Board Industry.
"When I first came into a corrugated box plant in 1974, still as a student of computer science, I had no idea that I would still be working for this fascinating industry 30 years later.
Today, industry leaders everywhere use our production scheduling system. We started on then-modern Wang systems - today we're using Internet technology to meet the needs of our customers."
